Hail to the bus driver... bus driver...bus driver

How Simpsons....
We were supposed to be going to climb Mt Monadnock today, with the International Friends group, but the weather has been overcast and/or raining all day so we couldn't as it was unsafe to climb.
So we went Apple Picking!!
In a school bus!!
was ace!
they treated us as a school trip and so we got to go for a ride in this...

sorry the pics a bit blurred!

Anyway we got driven around some of the vast orchard and i got to sit on the front with Pauline and Steve's 2 kids Pierre and Noah. (steve is the assistant director of National and Internantional Exchange)

Was such a great day, was like we were kids again on a school trip, having fun and learning things... (fully expected Steve to be 'ok so i want a paper on this on monday..lol) We then picked some apples - i have a bag of about 10 - and they are so delicious - you pick them and eat them straight away! The we had lunch and then we went to the chocolate shop in Warpole - where we were all treated to a cup of hot chocolate which was really good!

We were all so shattered on way home, we went into the Warpole museam for a bit too and then kinda all fell asleep on the bus!

We're having Chinese takeaway tonight!!!

so what else have i been up to?

well work is going ok, i'm beginning to feel more confident with it and i have THE best politics teacher (who gave me a book called the once and future king - all about King Arther etc) I have also dyed my hair (with ems and sarahs help) kinda reddy brown with gold highlights... will post a pic of it when i get a decent one... i've been bullied to post this one though... oh my life EMBARRESSING (in fairness it's only because i had to brush out my curls b4 putting the dye on)... her we go...

hmmm picture not loading will try later

xx

Hello-haa to yee, shame you didnt get to climb the mountain but this sounds like mucho fun anyhoo.

Don't go to KFC over there, it makes me furious as it has no burgers, its just all chicken bits! I wanted zinger burgers but was left bitterly dissapointed.

Mum heard me shouting things out on the corrie quiz the other day and was texting me new phrases to shout. The best thing I shouted was "Bananarama!!" as the presenter didnt know at all how to respond.
    Oh how we laughed.

Bananarama...... that deserves some kind of award/recognition Dave.

Can I also add, steer clear of McDonald's and the IHOP (this one cuz I want all the pancakes for myself next time I visit the US)
