I rowed!
Well today we've been to Granite Lake as the 'internationals'.
Had such a blast! We played 'wiffle ball' which is baseball with plastic bat and ball, I keep wanting to call it waffle ball though.
There were also a few kayaks, a small rowing boat- which leaked, and a Canadian canoe. Tom and Lucas set off first to the island and we followed in the leaking boat. It was such fun as the boat slowly filled with water, no really was! lol!
We landed on the island and wandered round bare foot to the rock pinickle where the lads were and spent about an hr sitting and chatting and encouraging/scaring Lucas to jump/dive, was soo much fun until he threatened to hug me and get me soaking wet! But thankfully he only went for my ankle!
Anyway had so much fun :D
thank you for all the prayers from people, they have made such a difference!
I would just love to find a church to settle in sooner rather than later, it's something that worries me slightly. Also really concerned about roommate as one of the internationals in my block has a roommate who's into tarot cards :S of my life!
so yeah still a bit nervous and miss so many of you it's silly!
particularly my brother, shockingly! :)

The problem with waffle ball is you end so sticky and covered with Maple Syrup, then the ants come and wasps....don't do Helen, "stick" with wiffle ball.

Monica.....You......ROWED??? Wow! So happy to know you're settling in, we all knew you'd be fine once you got there. But please don't feed Dave's ego any more, unless you're buttering him to ask some huge favour?!!
Tom & Lucas eh? You didn't waste any time there ;-)
Btw Villa have now got 7 points from possible 9 and sit second in premiership, if you could stay in america till next May we might win something!!

I'm so proud of you - rowing - that means you have more muscle than me!!!! :-(
Well the only problem with waffle ball is that the ball goes through the holes and the mud makes the waffles inedible!
